Questions

Does this track visitors?

No. The widget runs entirely in the browser. No data is sent to our servers. The prompt is constructed client-side and sent directly to the AI service the visitor chooses. We never see or store any visitor data.

How does this help SEO and AEO?

Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is the practice of making your content discoverable by AI chatbots. When visitors use the widget to summarize your page, they're essentially training AI systems to understand and cite your content.

The widget also drives engagement signals: visitors stay longer, interact with your content, and often share AI summaries on social media—all positive SEO factors.

Can I use this for other purposes beyond summaries?

Absolutely! The widget is a universal AI prompt launcher. Use the custom prompt field to create any AI interaction you want:

  • Product pages: "Compare this product to competitors and list pros/cons"
  • Recipes: "Convert this recipe to metric units and suggest substitutions"
  • Documentation: "Explain this technical concept to a beginner"
  • News articles: "Fact-check the claims in this article"
  • Research papers: "Summarize key findings and methodology"
  • Job postings: "Draft a cover letter based on this job description"

Simply change the prompt text and label to match your use case. The {{title}} and {{url}} placeholders work for any page.

Can I customize the appearance?

Yes! The widget offers several style options:

Choose small, medium, or large sizes. The embed code is completely self-contained—no external scripts needed.
